The Bordalo Pinheiro Artistic Faience Factory is an heiress of the Louça das Caldas Factory, founded by the brilliant caricaturist designer Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro in 1884. Until his death in 1905, he undertook an unusual artistic project of industrial investment and simultaneously seeking a certain spirit of being portuguese. Then they continue to reproduce the pieces of this extraordinary collection of earthenware, inspired and enhanced, from lobster dishes to cabbage services.
