In its aesthetic the Memphis philosophy is recognizable by the superposition of shapes and colors that are distinctive signs of this movement. This piece is signed at the base by Maria Sanchez and has the certificate of authenticity of the original and numbered piece. Maria Sanchez along with Nathalie Du Pasquier were the only two women who belonged to the Memphis Group, and for 7 years she was a personal assistant to Ettore Sottsass.
