Named after Clifton in Bristol, the place where Papersmiths began. These British-made notebooks were made for us by a 104-year-old book bindery in the South East of England, just 40 miles from our Chelsea store. They each have a vegan woven book cloth hardcover and blind embossed Papersmiths logo on the back. Inside you'll find 192 ruled pages of fountain pen-friendly paper, two ribbon bookmarks made with recycled yarns, and matching head and tail bands.

The makers of our Primo Pen are experts with 70 years of pen-making under their belts. They've been designed by combining best-selling pen qualities with the Papersmiths brand style. The aluminium body is light and comfortable to hold for an unmatched writing experience. We've also added the addition of mix-and-match refills in gel or ballpoint. It's super easy to pop in each refill and change the ink to your preference whenever you fancy a switch.
