Seletti Classics on Acid - Dessert Plate Fiorentino
This porcelain plate is a collection made with the Japanese Kintsugi technique. Kintsugi, literally repairing with gold, is a Japanese practice that consists in using liquid gold or lacquer with gold powder for the repair of ceramic objects, using the precious metal to weld the fragments together. The practice stems from the idea that an even greater form of aesthetic and interior perfection can arise from imperfection and a wound. The design takes on contemporary forms. Material: Porcelain. Dimensions: Dia 21 Xh 2.8 Cm.
One of Italy’s most beloved design exports, Seletti’s memorable and eclectic collection of furniture and homewares always makes a statement in any space, from its monkey lamp to its lipstick mirror. Blurring the lines between art and design, Seletti draws influence from different areas of culture, including the Pop Art movement, to create its quirky and irreverent products like its tongue-in-cheek ToiletPaper collection across plates, makeup bags, chairs and more.
