SGW Lab is a ceramic studio which was founded by artist Yuta Segawa, a Japanese ceramic artist specialising in miniature pottery, in 2018. He is backed with a knowledge of ceramics through his education in Japan and China, and now creates his products out of his London based studio. SGW Lab has since expanded its offering from miniature vases, to now include mugs and tumblers, as well as plant pots. SGW Lab champions traditional craftsmanship, and celebrates the serendipitous touches hand-crafting ceramics can have on a design, encapsulated within his distorted mugs and drip glazes - the contrasting colour palettes offsetting the rustic finishes.
