String Furniture Light Gray String Pocket Shelf
The String Pocket shelf from String Furniture offers practical storage in a harmonious shade of green on your interior. It consists of 2 uprights 50 cm high by 15 cm deep and 3 tablets 60 cm long. The classic String shelf, a big sister of the Pocket shelf, was designed by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning in 1949 and were produced after winning the first prize during a library competition organized by Bonniers Folkbibliotek. The Pocket version of the String shelf was imagined by the Swedish architect Nisse Strinning in 2005 . The ingenious size of the Pocket variant means that the shelf can be used as well as a bedside table or auxiliary table. With its characteristic lacquered steel ends, the String shelf was designed by drawing inspiration from the ELFA dish drain, which was also designed by Strinning. Today, the String shelf is emblematic of Scandinavian design and finds itself in many homes around the world. Give free rein to your creativity and personality by combining two or three String Pocket shelves to create a larger one.
