Contrary to what the store's name might suggest - HAJP is Swedish for hype - Scandinavian design is definitely not a fad. And neither is HAJP itself. Scandinavian design has stood for functionality for more than a century, set in a pure, clean line. The combination with light colours and warm materials makes furniture, utensils and lighting very accessible. Its for people who like modern home furnishings, but are also fans of classic interiors. The fact that prices have always remained democratic compared to, say, Italian design is a very pleasant side effect. Moreover, in recent decades, the notion of sustainability and ecological concern have become a constant that we particularly appreciate at HAJP.
